One of my main responsibilities in the cardiovascular modeling and simulation lab is managing releases of IBAMR. This release adds a ton of new functionality for multiphase flows, such as Brinkman penalization and seven related example programs. The release is available here:

A less obvious change in this release is a complete overhaul of IBAMR’s test suite. IBAMR now includes about a hundred tests, which are compiled via
make tests, as well as our own dedicated test runner
attest. A large test suite is invaluable when it comes to refactoring and optimizing code: investing in tests now will make it much easier to improve IBAMR in the future.
